Valmet and Biochemtex collaborate in developing technology for lignin derived biochemical

Valmet and Biochemtex will start to cooperate  in the field of conversion of lignin into biochemicals. The development project will combine and adapt LignoBoost, Valmet’s proprietary technology for the extraction of purified lignin from black liquor produced by pulp mills, and Moghi, Biochemtex’s proprietary technology for the conversion of lignin into biofuels and biochemicals.

Guido Ghisolfi has passed away - A very severe depression caused his untimely passing

Guido Ghisolfi, 58 years, vice-president and a managing director of the Mossi & Ghisolfi Group has passed away. He was suffering from severe depression and yesterday this resulted in his untimely passing close to his home in Tortona, Northern Italy.

Fa passi avanti un progetto di green economy per il Sud. Nel gennaio del 2013 il Governo italiano ha siglato un’intesa con Biochemtex del Gruppo Mossi&Ghisolfi, per lo sviluppo della economia verde, che prevede la realizzazione di tre nuovi impianti per la produzione di bioetanolo da materie prime no food (biocarburante di seconda generazione), in tre siti: Sulcis, Termini Imerese, Puglia.
